Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee receives and works with Johnson Health Tech Co. Ltd (Taiwan)

(BNP) – In the morning of December 13th, Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee received and worked with Mr. Tom Huang, CEO of Johnson Health Tech Co. Ltd (Taiwan) on building the factory of health and sports equipment in Bac Ninh.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Tom Huang expressed his gratitude to the provincial leader for the warm welcome and informed that Johnson is an enterprise ranking 03rd worldwide on production and business of sports, orthopedic and rehabilitation equipment. The products of Johnson have reached the market of 27 countries so far. In Vietnam, the company has had 17 representative offices and been in the progress of preparing investment procedures to build a factory in Thuan Thanh 2 Industrial Zone, Bac Ninh province.

According to the plan, the factory with registered capital of USD 40 million will be built on an area of 10 hectares, creating jobs for 5,000 employees and bringing annual expected revenue of USD 330 million. For its capacity, Johnson company will certainly meet the need of health care of Vietnamese people, contributing to making positive changes to the socio-economic development of the province after its operation.

CEO Tom Huang wished to receive the support as well as facilitation of the provincial leaders and functional departments in the investment progress, especially issues related taxes, investment procedures, ground,…so that the factory would be soon conducted and run into operation.

During the working session, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee highly appreciated Johnson’s investment in Bac Ninh. Briefing remarkable achievements in socio-economic development in recent years, Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh emphasized that despite being the smallest province nationwide, with the favorable geo-economic location, adjacent to the Hanoi capital city, near the Noi Bai International Airport, with the national highways, Bac Ninh is one of the fast-growing provinces with many indicators in the top of the country. Bac Ninh is attracting more than 1,200 FDI projects with total capital of about USD 17 billion from 33 countries and territories. In particular, Taiwan has 46 projects with over 420 million registered capital, Taiwanese enterprises in Bac Ninh has operated effectively.

Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh assigned the Provincial Industrial Zones Authority to be the focal point for the next guidance of investment procedures, at the same time create favorable conditions and settle difficulties so that the company would be soon implemented and run into operation.
