Chief Executive Officer of Samsung SDS Korea works in Bac Ninh

Chairman Nguyen Tu Quynh presents traditional gift to Mr. Hong Won Pyo

At the meeting, Mr. Hong Won Pyo said that Samsung SDS Korea is now a global company with 30 subsidiaries around the world, operating in the field of software production, providing platforms and solutions for information technology. Particularly, it is a leading unit in the field of building smart city, applying many new technologies, digitizing public services, bringing e-government to new heights.

He expressed his hope to receive cooperation and support of Bac Ninh province in the fields such as training human resource and information technology expert; building data analysis center; consulting, exchanging and transferring technology for information technology enterprises of the province. At the same time, the provincial leaders will continue paying attention and facilitating the company in deploying other projects, thereby, expanding investment in the province.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh briefed on the outstanding achievement of the province’s socio-economic development in the past time. At present, Korea is the leading country in FDI investment in the province with more than 800 enterprises and total investment capital of USD 12.5 billion, contributing to the development of the province.

The Chairman of Provincial People's Committee assigned Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Department of Information and Communications in coordination with Samsung SDS Vietnam to prepare the memorandum of cooperation in building smart city, creating premise for the deployment of further projects, thereby, strengthening the cooperation between Bac Ninh and Korea.
