Coordination program to bring tourists to Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center signed
(BNP) - On March 21, at Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center (Song Ho ward, Thuan Thanh town), the Provincial Center for Relic Conservation and Tourism Promotion and Sun Star Education and Travel Development Co., Ltd. jointly organized the signing ceremony of a coordination program to bring tourists to the Center.

Participants at the program were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Thuan Thanh town.
At the program, two sides signed the coordination program to bring tourists to the Center. Accordingly, the two sides agreed to coordinate to bring tourists and students to experience and learn about the craft of making Dong Ho folk paintings and other types of cultural heritage and traditional folk performing arts at the Center. They also coordinated in promoting the Center’s values on media and social networking platforms.
The Provincial Center for Relic Conservation and Tourism Promotion creates conditions for facilities and tour guides to welcome tourists; organizes activities to experience the craft of making Dong Ho folk paintings and traditional folk performing arts; and carries out promotional and propaganda activities at the Center.
Sun Star Education and Travel Development Co., Ltd. ensures the unit’s capacity to bring students to visit and experience the Center. Every year, it commits to bringing 15,000 - 20,000 tourists and students to the Center. At the same time, the Company will cooperate to advertise and support the promotion of the Heritage of Dong Ho Folk Painting craft and other traditional art forms of Bac Ninh province, etc.
The program aims to contribute to the Center’s development to become a typical traditional historical and cultural education point of the Bac Ninh hometown, promotes the cultural heritage value of Dong Ho folk paintings and other types of heritage and traditional folk performing arts as well as preserves, disseminates, transmits and promotes unique values of cultural heritage, contributing to the preservation and promotion of local cultural values.
