(BNP) - On May 14, National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment led by Mr. Phung Quoc Hien, Member of Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of National Assembly worked with several organizations and enterprises in the province in fields of mechanical engineering and hi-tech agriculture.

The delegation of National Assembly visited and worked at Hawee Manufacturing and Trading Joint Stock Company (at Tien Son Industrial Zone, Tien Du District) and Dabaco Plant Oil Extraction Factory (in Tan Chi commune, Tien Du District)
Established in 2011, Hawee Production and Trading Joint Stock Company is one of three members of Hawee Joint Stock Company, specializing in designing, manufacturing and assembling low and medium voltage electrical cabinets, control cabinet to supply for domestic and export projects.
After 23 years of establishment and development, so far Dabaco Group Joint Stock Company has become a multidisciplinary economic group with more than 60 subsidiaries, operating mainly in 9 fields in a closed and clean value chain model. Over the past years, the Group has continuously expanded its production scale in fields, rising to the position of leading enterprises in Vietnam in breeding and food processing. At the same time, Dabaco also invested in science and technology in production and training to improve the quality of human resources, actively creating competitive advantages in the context of global economic integration.

After visiting factories, NA’s Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien highly appreciated results in sectors of manufacturing and high-tech agriculture of the two companies, at the same time, emphasized that recommendations of the two companies would be a good basis for central agencies to have more information for launching appropriate policies.
Mr. Phung Quoc Hien proposed the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment to actively work with relevant ministries on building technical barriers to support domestic production, aiming at developing the mechanical industry and hi-tech agriculture in line with other countries in the region, contributing to affirming the country's socio-economic development.
