Deputy Secretary Nguyen Huu Quat presents gift to the Elderly
(BNP) – In the afternoon of September 26th, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Quat and leaders of provincial departments and sectors visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged older persons on the occasion of International Day of Older Persons (October 1st) in Tu Son town.
Permanent Deputy Secretary Nguyen Huu Quat visted and presented gift to Mrs. Tran Thi Dang.
Permanent Deputy Secretary Nguyen Huu Quat and the Delegation visted and presented gifts to 3 disadvantaged older persons including Mrs. Nguyen Thi Khuyen in Phu Loc hamlet, Phu Chan commune, Mr.s Ngo Thi Lan in Tam Son hamlet, Tam son commune and Mrs. Tran Thi Dang in Hung Phuc hamlet, Tuong Gian commune, who are over 80.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat visited living conditions as well as encouraged and shared the difficulties of the olders person. He also sent greetings to the elderly people and wished them longevity.
The Permanent Deputy Secretary urged local authority, mass organizations, individuals, community, making mass movement in taking care disadvantaged older persons, and helping them live better.
