Discussion for goals, tasks, and solutions of National Target Program on revitalization, cultural development

Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors attended the Conference at Bac Ninh’s venue.

At the conference, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung presented a brief report on the task profile of building a national target program on revitalization, cultural development, building Vietnamese people in the period 2026-2030, vision to 2045. Accordingly, the draft Program focuses on 9 key project groups including Developing Vietnamese personality; Building a healthy cultural environment with the focus on building cultural life; Synchronously and effectively developing and managing in cultural infrastructure systems, institutions and spaces; Improving the effectiveness of information dissemination and cultural education; Preserving and promoting national cultural heritage values; Promoting the development of literature and art; Cultural industry development; Cultural human resource development; International integration, absorbing the quintessence of human culture.

At the Conference, experts, scientists, ministries, branches and localities continued to have discussions and suggestions to comment and complete the draft Program; pointed out critical issues and regions that must be protected, kept, and maintained; and established the Program's content to be solved in the next time.

Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized that investment and cultural development were the common responsibility of the Party, the political system and the entire people; This draft program on cultural revival and development is important and urgent to meet the requirements of sustainable national development in the new situation. Ha acknowledged the efforts of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in preparing the draft Program to ensure coverage and focus on issues; relevant and focused opinions, showing the sense of responsibility of experts, ministries, sectors and localities.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong asked the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, as well as relevant departments and sectors to follow the Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha's directive immediately following the conference. He acknowledged and expressed his gratitude to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism for promptly advising the Provincial Party Committee to pass Resolution 71 on "Building and developing culture and people in Bac Ninh by 2030 to meet the demand for sustainable development”. On the other hand, Phuong recommended that the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee to make projects and reports related to the Program; coordinate with relevant agencies and units to effectively preserve and promote tangible and intangible cultural values in the province; continue to implement well the promotion of traditional education on culture; introduce and promote historical relics, contributing to bringing cultural values and relics closer to the young generation.
