Nearly 500 documents and artifacts preserved through periods are displayed under 3 main parts: Bac Ninh - homeland of Ly dynasty; Ly dynasty with Dai Viet civilization; preservation and promotion of cultural heritages of Ly dynasty.

The well arranged artifacts, documents and images reappeared the sacred land with many talents, where King Ly Cong Uan was born. Ly Cong Uan was known as the founder of Ly Dynasty who decided to move the capital from Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh) to Dai La Citadel (Hanoi) to establish Thang Long capital (Hanoi). Under Ly Dynasty, the country which was then called Dai Viet civilization, witnessed a strong development in various fields such as laying the foundation for Confucian education and academic science, developing the economy with agriculture and handicraft as the mainstay, promoting trade and resounding victory in the resistance war against the Song invaders from China.

In addition, photos on archaeological, research, restoration and embellishment activities related to the relic sites and artefacts from Ly Dynasty demonstrate the Bac Ninh provincial authorities’ efforts to preserve and promote the value of the dynasty.

Bearing the great historical significance, the exhibition themed "Bac Ninh with Ly Dynasty" affirmed the great merits of King Ly Cong Uan, thereby, inspiring patriotism and pride in the nation’s history for the young generation.

The event will take place until the end of December 2020.
