Hanoi Football Club wins at U9 National Football Tournament Toyota Cup 2023
(BNP) – On the afternoon of August 22, the final match, closing and awards ceremony of U9 National Football Tournament Toyota Cup 2023 were held at the Provincial Multi-purpose gymnasium.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Thanh Lam, Deputy Head of Central Propaganda Department; Mrs. Tran Thi Hang, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People’s Council; Mrs. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of Central Youth Union, Chairwoman of Central Team Council, Journalist Nguyen Phan Khue, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong and Children's Newspapers and Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Nguyen Duc Sam, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and Head of Local Organizing Committee; representative from Toyota Motor Vietnam Co.,Ltd; leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
After 2 weeks of exciting competition, 16 teams participating in the Tournament has brought the beautiful performances to the spectators.
Viet Hung Thanh Hoa and Hanoi Football Club advanced to the final match of U9 National Football Tournament Toyota Cup 2023 after defeating 14 other teams.
Immediately after the opening, Hanoi Football Club players showed their overwhelming strength of skillful individual technique. Hanoi Football Club won with a score of 1-0 and became the champion of the U9 National Football Tournament Toyota Cup 2023.
Finishing the Tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the Champion Cup to Hanoi Football Club; Second Prize to Viet Hung Thanh Hoa; Third Prize to Song Lam Nghe An and Thuan An Binh Duong. HYS Hanoi received the most favorite team award; Toyota Style Award was awarded to Bac Ninh; the motivational style award belonged to Thuan An Binh Duong.
The Organizing Committee also awarded the title of Best player to Nguyen Manh Hung (Hanoi Football Club); Top Goal Scorer to Tran Dai Nhan (Viet Hung Thanh Hoa) and Best Goalkeeper to Nguyen Khac Phu (Hanoi Football Club). Furthermore, 10 outstanding players and excellent referee team of the tournament were awarded prizes.
Through the tournament, the Organizing Committee hoped that children across the country would be able to play football, participate in sports and improve their health. The Committee also wished that after the tournament, more than 300 young players would continue to develop and hone their skills in order to advance on the professional football pathway, devote their best and bring glory to the Country.
