IIP increased to highest level in 4 years in first quarter

(BNP) - According to information from the Office of Statistics, in the first quarter of 2022, the province's index of industrial production (IIP) increased by 9.79% over the same period last year. This is an increase higher than the average increase in the past 5 years, also the highest increase in the last 4 years.

After implementing Resolution 128 of the Government, many businesses accelerated the progress of goods production.

Key products such as: phone screens, electronic components have returned with many large international orders, achieving high growth rates over the same period. Among which, printers increased by 22.4%; phone screens increased by 37.3%; electronic components increased by 20.7%.
