Launching and presenting book "Nguyen Duc clan - Duke of Que O Village"

(BNP) - On the afternoon of November 26, the Provincial Center for Monument Conservation and Tourism Promotion, the Provincial Library and the Nguyen Duc clan jointly launched and presented the book "Nguyen Duc clan - Duke of Que O village" at the Provincial Library.

The Nguyen Duc clan has lived and worked in Que O village, Chi Lang commune, Que Vo town since the 15th century. During the feudal period, the Nguyen Duc clan was one of the most strong, glorious and representative clans of the martial arts tradition of Kinh Bac. This is the most representative clan of the martial arts lineage with majestic and heroic characters that prioritize morality, filial piety, and humanity.

The book's editorial board directly surveyed 50 relic sites in 7 provinces such as Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Thanh Hoa, Lang Son, Nghe An, Thai Binh, Hung Yen, before drafting the book and soliciting feedback from specialists and family members.

Up to now, the book "Nguyen Duc clan - Duke of Que O village" has been published and introduced to the public with over 700 pages. The book includes 3 chapters: Nguyen Duc clan tradition; historical relics worshiping the dukes of Nguyen Duc clan; promotion of the tradition of Nguyen Duc clan - Duke of Ho Chi Minh era.

This is the first work that conducts the most in-depth and thorough research on the clan, from its origin to its development process, as well as the contributions of its characters to national history.

The book is an important source of study materials, providing a comprehensive overview of the history and tradition of the Nguyen Duc clan for the Dukes and related relics of the clan and localities. It is also a document for scientists interested in learning about the history and culture of Bac Ninh province.

On this occasion, the Provincial Center for Monument Conservation and Tourism Promotion presented the book to the Provincial Library, the Provincial Museum, schools as well as a number of research and educational agencies.
