National historical and cultural relic of Nghia Lap communal house

(BNP) - Nghia Lap Communal House (Phu Khe Ward, Tu Son City) was built during the Le Dynasty (17th century) on a large scale and was restored during the Nguyen Dynasty, under the reign of King Gia Long the 4th (1805). The communal house has retained its unique architecture and many precious objects despite numerous restorations and embellishments over time and during wartime.


 

Nghia Lap Communal House is a place to worship Thanh Hoa, a talented general of the 6th Hung King. The communal house has a Chinese "Dinh" letter architecture including the Dai Dinh and Hau Cung, the gate and auxiliary works. It is erected on a land area of over 1,100 square meters at the beginning of the quarter.


In front of the communal house is a large lake lined with green stone and the quarter cultural house.


The communal house gate (three gates) with the main door and two side doors, has traditional architecture.

Currently, the communal house still preserves many valuable ancient artifacts from the Le - Nguyen period such as: tablets, thrones, incense tables, writing boards, altars, incense tubes, trays, parallel sentences...


04 ordinations of the 18th century; 07 ordinations of the 19th century; 01 ordination of the 20th century.


In the communal house ground, there is a guest house, where villagers and visitors prepare to attend the ceremony at the communal house.


The ancient well is located in the communal house ground.


The Nghia Lap Pagoda is located to the left of the communal house.


 

Every year, the local government and people hold a communal house festival on the 12th day of the 9th lunar month to commemorate the death anniversary of the village's tutelary god. Nghia Lap communal house was ranked as a National Historical and Cultural Relic on April 20, 1995 under Decision No. 1568-QD/BT.
