Ngo Xa Pagoda (Thien Phuc Pagoda)

(BNP) - Ngo Xa Pagoda, Long Chau Commune, Yen Phong District was built a long time ago. In 1978, the pagoda was demolished and moved to next to Ngo Xa communal house. In 2000, local people rebuilt the temple on the old temple's ground. The pagoda was ranked as a national relic in Decision No. 100-VH/QD dated January 21, 1989.

Currently, the pagoda includes works such as: Tam Quan, Tam Bao, ancestral house, Mother house...


Tam Bao of Ngo Xa Pagoda has the architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter.


The roof of the Tam Bao is embossed with three words “Thien Phuc Tu”.

The temple worships Buddha, Mother and ancestors, is the center of Buddhist religious activities of the local people. The pagoda has its ancestors' death anniversary on the June 4 lunar month and the pagoda festival on the February 5 lunar month.
