Passenger transport revenue increases by 14.8%
(BNP) - In January 2019, the revenue of passenger transport in the whole province was estimated at VND 156.6 billion, up 0.7% over the previous month and 14.8% year-on-year.
Taxi services have large passenger transport rates.
The volume of passenger transportation was estimated at 2,877.6 thousand, up 1.4% over the previous month and 16.6% year-on-year; while its rotation volume was estimated at 135.4 million passengers.km, up 1.5% and 17.3%.
Regarding freight transport, the transport volume was estimated at 3,485 thousand tons, up 2.7% and 10.9%, while its rotation volume was estimated at 167.2 thousand tons.km, increasing by 0.3% and 9.5%. Revenue from goods transportation was estimated at VND 252.3 billion, up 0.5% and 10.6%. Transportation support activities also achieved good results; total revenue was estimated at VND 212.7 billion, up 2.4% and 9.4%; in which logistics activities accounted for 96%.
