Permanent Provincial Party Committee works with Delegation of Trade Unions of Bucheon city, Korea

(BNP) – In the morning of May 23rd, a Delegation of Trade Unions of Bucheon city, Korea led by Mr. Park Jong Hyun Chairman of Trade Unions visited Bac Ninh’s leaders.

Provincial leaders gave traditional handicraft products to the Trade Union of Bucheon.

Welcoming and working with the Delegation were Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee (PPC) Nguyen Huu Quat; Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Tu Quynh; Deputy Secretary of PPC Nguyen Thi Ha; Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Hanh Chung and leaders of Provincial Confederation of Labor.
 
On behalf of the provincial leaders, Permanent Deputy Secretary Nguyen Huu Quat noted the good relationship between Provincical Confederation of Labor and the Trade Union of Bucheon city through a co-operative signing program. He desired that both trade unions needed to carry out various practical activities such as exchanging information, organizing visits, sharing experiences, promoting solidarity, co-operation and development for the common cause of protection of workers' rights and development of two localities, two countries.

He also briefed with the delegation on the socio-economic situation of the province in recent years with strong and comprehensive development. Urban infrastructure has been more and more modern, the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved. Besides, the province had always been interested in culture, education and health care, especially in social welfare, with many policies which implemented earlier and more highly in comparison with central regulations. Defense was strengthened, political security was stable, social security was maintained; the building of the Party, the government, the Fatherland Front and the people's organizations had made positive changes, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quat said.

Mr. Park Jong Hyun, the Chairman of Bucheon city’s Trade Union, thanked the warm welcome of Bac Ninh province's leaders. After the short information about Bucheon and the characteristics of union activities in Korea, the Chairman expressed his wish that the Party and the Government of Bac Ninh would continue to pay attention and facilitate the consolidation and development of co-operative ties between the Bucheon city’s Labor Union and the Bac Ninh Provincial Confederation of Labor./.
