Phat Tich - Dai Dong Thanh bridge to be merged

Participants at the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Phat Tich – Dai Dong Thanh bridge project has a length of more than 1.5km, a total investment of more than VND 1,900 billion. Up to now, all 6 spans of the bridge are officially merged. In the coming time, contractors would continue to focus their resources to complete the work and put it into use according to the set schedule.

The provincial leaders acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the investor, the contractors and consultants in ensuring the construction progress as committed.

Provincial leader emphasized that the Phat Tich – Dai Dong Thanh bridge project was identified as a key project of the province to create favorable travel conditions for people as well as driving force to promote economic and tourism development of the localities.

The contractors continue to mobilize maximum resources, organize the construction of 3 shifts/day and night; strictly comply with regulations on labor safety, environmental sanitation, and ensure the prevention and control of epidemics on the construction site. The supervision consulting unit appoints permanent staff at the construction site to promptly handle arising problems during the construction process, ensuring the progress is not interrupted or stalled, striving to carry out the global contract in June 2022.
