Program of singing Quan Ho folk songs on boat "Pride melodies" to celebrate National Reunification Day
(BNP) - On the evening of April 30, at the lake area of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater (Viem Xa area, Hoa Long ward, Bac Ninh city), the program of singing Quan Ho folk songs on boat "Pride melodies" was took place.
The leaders presents flowers to congratulate the artists and actors of the Quan Ho Bac Ninh Folk Song Theater.
This is a practical activity to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the liberation of the South and reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2023); 137 years of International Labor Day (May 1) and celebrate President Ho Chi Minh's birthday on May 19. The program is broadcast live on the air of Bac Ninh Radio and Television Station.
Attending the program were: Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Van, Deputy Head of Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; leaders of departments, branches, unions, localities and a large number of people and tourists.
The content of the program consisted of 2 parts: Performance on a floating stage and Quan ho folk song singing on the boat.
The art space is designed in an open direction to reach the most diverse audience, combining a real scene performance stage with modern light show technology to honor the beauty of Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk songs - Representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
This is a spiritual gift to express the feelings of the people of Bac Ninh on the day of the country's independence, thereby, propagating and educating the younger generation to continue the patriotic tradition, expressing deep gratitude to his father who sacrificed his blood for the independence and freedom of the nation and reunification, arousing pride in cultural traditions as well as raising the community's awareness and responsibility in preserving and promoting the value of the heritage of Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk song. This is also an opportunity to introduce and promote the image, cultural land and people of Bac Ninh to domestic and international tourists.
Along with the program of singing Quan Ho Bac Ninh on the boat, in the area of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater, there are many street activities such as: Folk dance; Folk games; art exchange ... attracting a large number of people and tourists.
