Provincial Industrial Zones Authority reviews the work of 2018

(BNP) – In The afternoon of January 18th, Provincial Industrial Zones Authority held a Conference to review the work of 2018 and deploy the task of 2019.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee awards Certificate of Merit to collectives and individuals having outstanding achievements.

In 2018, the provincial Industrial Zones Authority comprehensively and effectively implemented the objectives, tasks and plans for the construction, management and development of industrial parks in the province. The work of management of investment, environment, construction planning, business, labor… achieved many positive results, contributing to the overall development of the province.

With 16 integrated industrial zones, among which, 10 industrial zones came into operation, last year, the Authority granted 125 investment certificates with a total registered capital of USD 521 million; adjusted capital for 385 projects. Until now, the Authority has issued 1.329 investment certificates with a total of USD 17.8 billion. Also in 2018, the number of workers increased by 486 workers in the industrial zone, reaching 2.7% of the year plan and bringing the total number of workers in the industrial parks to be nearly 285,000 workers.

In 2019, the Provincial Industrial Zones Authority focused on building and developing industrial parks associated with urban area in a modern and synchronous direction; promoting the reform of administrative procedures; creating the most favorable conditions for investors; concentrating on the investment attraction of the projects with the large-scale, high-tech and environmentally-friendly as well as well-performing the work of inspection and supervision of investment; ensuring environmental protection, land, construction, labor and security...
