Provincial leaders congratulate Provincial Buddhist Church's Executive Board on occasion of Buddha's Birthday 2023

(BNP) – A delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, and Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies led by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies visited and congratulated the Provincial Buddhist Church's Executive Board on May 20.

Joining the delegation were Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Hang, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Ha Sy Tiep, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Committee for Mass Mobilization; leaders of departments and agencies of the province and Bac Ninh city.

Secretary Tuan sent greetings to the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in general, the Executive Board of the Buddhist Church of Bac Ninh province in particular, and the Most Venerable Monks, Venerables, and dignitaries in the province.

Tuan affirmed that the Provincial Buddhist Church's Executive Board as well as the monks, nuns, and Buddhists in the province, made a significant contribution to achieving these results in addition to the Party Committee, the government, and the entire population of the province.

The Secretary hoped that the Provincial Buddhist Church's Executive Board will continue to promote the good tradition of Buddhism in the future.

The Provincial Buddhist Church's Chairman expressed gratitude for the provincial leaders' support of the local Buddhist community and their well wishes. At the same time, he declared that he would continue to uphold the good traditions of Buddhism and work alongside authorities at all levels to spread the word and mobilize Buddhists to uphold their moral standards and carry out their duties. By promoting their own roles in life, citizens help the province of Bac Ninh go more and more in the direction of civilization and modernization.

At Dai Thanh Pagoda, the delegation respectfully presented incense and carried out a rite bathing the Buddha, celebrating his birthday, striving for purity, and praying for world peace and local progress.
