Provincial leaders meet and dialogue with women

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien stressed the importance of the dialogue that the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee listened to women’s thoughts, expectations, and recommendations. The provincial leaders answered and discussed solutions to solve difficulties for women in general and women public servants in particular. During the dialogue, participants are provided the central and provincial guidelines and policies related to women and gender equality, thereby enhancing understanding and reinforcement of legal beliefs of the women for the Party, the State, and the Union, contributing to the building a stronger and stronger Women's Union.

Provincial Party Secretary answers the questions of Women Union’s members

The Provincial People's Committee instructed departments, districts, town, and city to continue reviewing the tasks assigned by the province, especially the implementation of policies and guidelines of the Party and State related to women. Every year, the Party Committee and the Government at all levels in coordination with Women unions shall hold direct dialogues with women in order to promptly grasp and solve their difficulties and issues in the work of women in agencies, units, locality.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the leaders of functional departments exchanged directly, in the spirit of openness and democracy, on the concern and facilitation of provincial leaders to a wide range of issues such as training, rotation and appointment of women public servants, preferential and supporting policies to agricultural production; business start-up; assisting women in the collection and transportation of domestic waste and construction of houses for poor women; raising the allowance for single women who are poor and have small children, the application of high technologies to agricultural production as well as participating in economic, cultural and social development in their localities,…

At the meeting, 20 collectives and 10 individuals, who made many achievements in 02 years implementing the Politburo's Directive No.05 were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial Party Committee. 10 individuals and 10 collectives who have made merit in the women's movement to build new rural areas were awarded certificates of merit of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
