Provincial leaders offer incense at Bac Ninh Temple of Literature on occasion of lantern festival

The delegation offers incense at Bac Ninh Temple of Literature.

Joining the delegation were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the People's Council; leaders of the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; leaders of departments, branches, sectors and mass organizations of Bac Ninh province and city together with representatives from 10 academic families and typical students.

The delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to Khong Tu, Tu Phoi, philosophers, professors…at the Temple of Literature in Bac Ninh.

After the incense offering ceremony, the provincial leaders participated in activities to learn the art of calligraphy and ask for the first letter of the year at the Temple of Literature. At the same time, the delegation chatted  with representatives of typical academic families and students.

This is an annual activity to demonstrate the principle of "Drink water, remember the source" for generations of ancestors who have built and defended the country. It is also an opportunity to honor traditional historical and revolutionary values of the land and people of Bac Ninh as well as encourage the Party committee, government and people in the province to strive to build a rich, beautiful and civilized province.
