The transfer of science and technology in the district has been promoted, encouraging farmers to actively apply new farming techniques and synchronized mechanization in the production, to strongly and positively change the structure of plant and animal breeds. Therefore, many high yielding and high-quality rice producing areas have been established, especially the area of trading potato production ranges from 1,400 to 1,500 hectares with the annual output of 25,000 tons.

The district has 72 combined harvesters, 202 land tillers, 150 pesticide sprayers; 40 cold storages with the capacity of preserving 1,800 tons of seed potatoes per year. For rice and potato production, Que Vo has brought mechanization into all stages of production, thus improving productivity, bringing higher economic value. Moreover, the district also carries out transforming the aquaculture model from extensive to intensive farming.

In addition, the district has branded for some products such as Que Vo tasty rice, Que Vo potato, encouraging people to develop agriculture in the direction of concentrated commodity production, strong development of flagship product, bringing higher economic efficiency and step by step meeting the needs of the market.

In order to well implement the application of high technologies in production, processing, and consumption of agricultural products, Que Vo district will focus on developing key products under the program "each commune has its own product".
