Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien presents gifts to elderly in Yen Phong
(BNP) – In the morning of September 26th, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Nhan Chien visited and presented gifts to disadvantaged older persons on the occasion of International Day of Older Persons (October 1st) in Yen Phong district.
Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien presented gift to Mrs.Nguyen Thi Lan.
Joining the Delegation were leaders of Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Office of Provincial Party Committee, Representation Board of Provincial Association of the Elderly and Yen Phong district.
Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien and the Delegation visited and presented gifts to 4 disadvantaged older persons including Nguyen Thi Lan (86 years old, Dai Lam hamlet, Tam Da commune), Khong Thi Gia (84 years old) and Khổng Thi Giao (82 years old) in Phu Yen hamlet, Dung Liet commune and Ngo Thi Dan, who is 85, in Tien Tra hamlet, Trung Nghia commune.

The Secretary visited living conditions as well as encouraged and shared the difficulties of the olders person. He also sent greetings to the elderly people and wished them longevity.
The Secretary urged Yen Phong district, local authority, branches and social organizations to continue paying attention and making mass movement in taking care disadvantaged older persons, and helping them live better.
