Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visits startup models of the youth in Tien Du and Gia Binh districts

Secretary of Provincial Party Committee visits clean agricultural model of Liem Anh High-tech Agricultural Cooperative.

The Party Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien and the delegation visited the clean agricultural model of Liem Anh High-tech Agricultural Cooperative invested by 30-year-old youth member Nguyen Thanh Liem in Viet Doan commune, Tien Du district and the startup model of Vu Thi Thu in Thien Duc village, Thai Bao commune, Gia Binh district.

Started since 2017 on an area of 1.3ha, Liem Anh High-tech Agricultural Cooperative has built a net-house of melon, off-season tomatoes, and safe vegetables used organic methods and clear traceability stamps. The model has won the C Prize of the "Bac Ninh Youth’s startup ideas" contest organized by the Provincial Youth Union and supported with a loan of VND 500 million.

Regarding the startup model of Vu Thi Thu, it has been implemented since 2016 on 0.7ha of land for growing medicinal plants and extracting essential oils. She produced essential oils, shampoo, mouthwash, and bath water for children with natural extracts. These products do not use chemicals from growing raw materials to processing. The startup project was supported by the Provincial Youth Union with an amount of VND 1.5 billion.

During visits to start-up projects, Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Nhan Chien appreciated the initial effectiveness of the projects with innovative ideas, which made clean and green products. The Secretary also acknowledged the active participation of the Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Social Policy Bank, and relevant units in creating the most favorable conditions for young people to get loans in the shortest time.

In order for the projects to become more and more efficient, Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien assigned the Department of Science and Technology in coordination with relevant departments to urgently help youth members, who have start-up projects, complete procedures to register trademarks and issue circulation licenses. The Provincial Youth Union needs to work with localities to support startup projects on the expansion of production, provision of labor resources, support for capital, thereby creating additional income and stable jobs for local workers.

The Provincial Party Committee Secretary also noted that in the coming time, the Youth Union should replicate startup models, continue to encourage the spirit of innovation of the youth, and launch support policies for them in the startup process.
