Special art program with theme "Bamboo and Apricot Reunion" held

(BNP) – At exactly 8:00 p.m. on November 23, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, the 15th anniversary of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs being recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity officially took place. Thousands of delegates, people and tourists enjoyed the special art program with the theme "Reunion of Bamboo and Apricot".

At the ceremony, the delegates enjoyed a special art program with the theme “Reunion of Bamboo and Mai”. The program strung together and told the audience a story with a variety of emotions about Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs, the close connection between Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs and typical folk songs of regions across the country such as Vi – Giam, and Don ca tai tu art through special art performances.

The program with the participation of professional artists and artisans from the Central and local levels, thereby expressing the pride and respect of the community and the young generation for the cultural heritage of humanity; affirming the important position of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs in the contemporary cultural life of the community, vividly demonstrating the preservation of the unique values ​​of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs as well as creating special impressions and emotions in the hearts of viewers about a special art program because of the interweaving and harmonious combination of three Vietnamese folk songs that have been recognized by UNESCO as representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity, namely: "Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Songs", "Nghe Tinh Vi - Giam Folk Songs" and "Southern amateur music", thereby continuing to affirm the vitality and spread of the nation's intangible cultural heritages.
