Standing Vice Chairwoman of Provincial People's Council attends groundbreaking ceremony of housing project in Hien Van commune
(BNP) – On the afternoon of December 2, Ms. Tran Thi Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council presented funding to support the construction and attended the groundbreaking ceremony of a housing project for meritorious people in Hien Van commune, Tien Du district. Also attending the ceremony were leaders of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs and Tien Du district.

Ms. Tran Thi Hang presented financial support and performed the groundbreaking ceremony of a house for Mr. Nguyen Quang Kinh, who was born in 1950, from a family with revolutionary contributions and difficult circumstances in Noi village, Hien Van commune.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hang affirmed that building houses for households in difficulties demonstrates a sense of responsibility and brings a warm home to the disadvantaged, so that no one is left behind.
The Standing Vice Chairwoman requested the District Steering Committee; the Fatherland Front Committee, political and social organizations to closely coordinate with the commune-level authorities, promote the strength of the great solidarity bloc in propagating and mobilizing cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers and people of all walks of life to actively respond to and implement the emulation movement as well as promote the role of social supervision and debate on social security policies, and eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the district.
She suggested that Tien Du district need to pay attention to and focus on supporting families in need of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area; mobilize the participation, contributions and efforts of organizations, philanthropists and local people, thereby, helping households have more resources to build houses and improve their lives.
Implementing the Prime Minister's policy on implementing the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025", through checking, Tien Du district has a total of 18 households still facing housing difficulties, and they are supported with VND 100 million for new construction and VND 50 million for repair.
