Youth Union of Provincial Agencies and State-owned Enterprises kicks off “Youth Month 2024”

Leaders of the Provincial Youth Union, Party Committee and Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and State-owned Enterprises award scholarships to students in difficult circumstances.

Attending the program were leaders of the Provincial Youth Union; Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and State-owned Enterprises; and Tien Du district.

With the theme “Youth of the Provincial Agencies and State-owned Enterprises volunteer for community life”, in 2024, the Youth Unions of the Provincial Agencies and State-owned Enterprises and Tien Du district will focus on promoting propaganda activities, historical education, and the tradition of the Youth Union on the occasion of the 93^rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The Unions strive to have 100% of affiliated Youth Unions carry out at least 01 activity, project or youth work. 80% of youth union members have access to digital capacity building activities implemented by Youth Union organizations at all levels. 3,000 green trees are planted and cared for in response to the “Green Journey” movement; the “No plastic waste” movement is actively propagated and implemented. At the same time, 70 new union members are admitted; 70 excellent members are introduced to attend the training class for admission to the Party, in which at least 60 of them are admitted; 100 vulnerable children in difficult circumstances are supported and helped, etc.

At the program, the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies and State-owned Enterprises awarded 20 scholarships “Elevate children’s steps to school” to students in difficult circumstances in Tien Du district; and presented 100 maps in response to the campaign “Proud of a stretch of mountains and rivers”.

At the same time, the Union cooperated with Tien Du District Youth Union to inaugurate the youth tree line in the area leading to Kinh Duong Vuong bridge; and start construction of the “Youth shelter” work for member Nguyen Dinh Ninh’s family (Den village, Canh Hung commune, Tien Du district) with a support budget of VND 65 million. This is a work to celebrate the 70^th anniversary of the establishment of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and State-owned Enterprises (June 10, 1954-2024).

Also at the program, Bac Ninh Petroleum One Member Limited Liability Company presented 05 trash bins to Phat Tich Secondary School, Tien Du district.
