(BNP) - On the morning of March 29th, in Nha Trang city (Khanh Hoa province), Standing Vice Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee Mai Son attended the closing ceremony of the 67th National Marathon Championship - Tien Phong Newspaper 2026 and received the rotating flag to host the tournament in 2027.

According to the planned schedule, the 68th National Marathon Championship - Tien Phong Newspaper, 2027, will be held in March 2027 in Bac Ninh province, attracting approximately 15,000 athletes. Besides the competitive events, the province will also incorporate many unique cultural activities such as Quan Ho folk singing, promoting local heritage, cuisine, and tourism, contributing to the dissemination of cultural values and promoting socio-economic development.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman Mai Son along with a delegation from Bac Ninh Province, directly observed and evaluated the organization of the 2026 tournament in Khanh Hoa. Based on this, they will proactively develop a comprehensive plan and fully prepare all necessary conditions, including facilities, race routes, organizational work, communications, security, medical services, and logistics, to ensure the successful hosting of the tournament in 2027.
