Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hieu, Director of the Department of Industry and Trade and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025, said that this year's festival was organized with the spirit of "honoring the value of agricultural products - promoting growing areas - promoting agricultural tourism - elevating local brands," creating a series of rich activities that harmoniously combine trade promotion with culture and tourism.
With 200 stalls, the festival created a vibrant exhibition space, like a "large fruit garden" in the heart of Kinh Bac. From the very first days of its opening, the 12 stalls representing 12 communes and wards in the former Luc Ngan district became memorable stops, attracting a large number of visitors. Besides the abundant fruit stalls, this year's festival also showcased many typical specialties and OCOP products from provinces and cities such as Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Hung Yen, Son La, Hai Phong, and Lang Son…
The exhibition area showcasing agricultural tools, biological products, and machinery and technology for agricultural production, preservation, and processing also contributed to enriching the festival space. This diversity and attractiveness created a special appeal, helping the festival attract over 200,000 visitors.
Total revenue from oranges, pomelos, other fruits, and related services during the festival is estimated to exceed VND 20 billion.
Total revenue from oranges, pomelos, other fruits, and related services during the festival is estimated at over VND 20 billion. Nearly 40,000 tons of oranges and pomelos alone were sold, generating over VND 13 billion in value. These figures are not only economic achievements but also clear evidence of market confidence and the persistent efforts of farmers and businesses throughout a year of preparation.
The Organizing Committee awards certificates to 22 outstanding rural industrial products of Bac Ninh province in 2025.
In addition, professional events include the Bac Ninh-Can Tho commerce conference, tourism destination marketing conference, and workshops on agricultural processing technologies and biological products. These events provide a large space for meetings and exchanges, increasing the prospects for long-term cooperation among businesses, cooperatives, and farmers.
This year, in particular, Bac Ninh province boldly opened a new door – the door of digital commerce. Six livestream sessions before and during the festival attracted over 2.3 million viewers across platforms (TikTok, Facebook), showcasing nearly 100 distinctive products of the province and closing over 3,000 orders. The festival helped cooperatives and businesses gain more confidence in telling their product stories to online audiences. This will be a sustainable direction in the future – bringing Bac Ninh agricultural products closer to consumers nationwide, transcending all boundaries of space and time.
The song "Bac Bling" was performed by singer Tuan Cry at the program.
Beyond its economic value, this year's festival left a profound cultural legacy of Kinh Bac, thanks to its well-organized and emotionally rich cultural and tourism activities: from the solemn opening ceremony to the three nights of traditional folk art performances (Quan Ho, Then, Cheo, Ca Tru, Chau Van, etc.), highlighting the unique cultural characteristics of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac.
On the opening night of the festival, the Organizing Committee auctioned off four orange trees for over 500 million VND to support people in Central and Central Highlands regions in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.
With elaborate investment, multi-layered displays, a focal point, and a variety of characteristic fruits in vibrant colors, the booth of Chu ward made a strong impression on visitors and was honored with first prize at the Bac Ninh Fruit Festival 2025. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded first prize to the booths of Luc Ngan and Son Hai communes; and third prize to the booths of Phuong Son ward and the communes of Bien Son, Phuc Hoa, Deo Gia, Kien Lao, and Sa Ly.
