(BNP) - On October 22, at the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the local Organizing Committee met to discuss preparations for the Felet Vietnam International Series Badminton Tournament 2025, which will take place in Bac Ninh.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Standing body of the Organizing Committee) briefly informed about the preparation work for the Felet Vietnam International Badminton Tournament 2025. The Department proactively reported and asked for the Provincial People's Committee's opinion on the organization of the tournament; coordinated with relevant departments, branches and units to advise on the development of an implementation plan; decided to establish a provincial Organizing Committee to organize the tournament. At the same time, the Department proactively coordinated with the Vietnam Badminton Federation to unify the contents; conducted inspections and reviews of all existing facilities at the Provincial Sports Gymnasium, the Provincial Sports Training and Competition Hall; arranged sufficient facilities and related conditions to organize the tournament such as: Prepare 4 competition courts (with border mats, referee chairs, net measuring tape, floor mops, scoreboards, etc.); prepare backup generators, air conditioners; arrange tables, chairs, drinking water, air conditioners in functional rooms, etc.
From October 28 to November 2, 2025, the Vietnam Badminton Federation in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh organized the Felet Vietnam International Series Badminton Tournament 2025 at the Bac Ninh Provincial Sports Gymnasium (Southern urban area, Bac Giang ward). The athlete delegations will practice at the Provincial Sports Gymnasium and Competition Hall, and stay at Muong Thanh Hotel.
It is expected that there will be more than 300 participants, including 18 countries registered to compete with a total of 260 athletes, coaches, international technical officials, Vietnamese referees, the Central Organizing Committee, technical staff... This is a strong tournament, gathering top athletes, promising to bring many good, dramatic and attractive matches./.
