Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai attends opening ceremony and casts his vote in election in Bac Giang ward

(BNP) - On the morning of March 15th, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Election Steering Committee, attended the opening ceremony and cast his vote at Polling Station No. 2 (Bac Giang Ward) in Electoral Unit No. 9.

The Bac Giang ward polling station was brilliantly decorated with flags, flowers, banners, and propaganda slogans. A huge number of voters arrived early to exercise their rights and civic responsibilities in a solemn and impassioned manner. At 7:00 a.m., Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai and other voters cast the first ballots for the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the term 2026-2031. Following that, under the direction of the Election Committee, voters cast their ballots completely and quickly.

Speaking at the event, Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai acknowledged the efforts and endeavors of the entire political system, agencies, departments, organizations, wards and communes, election councils at all levels, and the support of the entire population. He emphasized that participating in elections is the duty and responsibility of citizens to choose candidates with sufficient virtue and talent to run for the highest state power organs. He hoped that voters would continue to carefully consider and choose worthy individuals to continue building and developing the country.
