Vietnam-Korea Industrial Park

The Vietnam-Korea Industrial Park (VKIP) is one of the key industrial parks in Bac Ninh province, formed and developed in the context of the province's accelerated industrialization, modernization, and deep integration into the global value chain. The industrial park is oriented towards a modern, sustainable, and environmentally friendly model, while creating a favorable foundation to strongly attract domestic investment as well as foreign direct investment (FDI), especially from investors from Korea and other industrially developed countries.

1. Geographical Location and Transportation Connectivity

- The Vietnam-Korea Industrial Park is located in the former Viet Yen town, Bac Ninh province, an area with rapid urbanization and industrial development in the province.

- The geographical location is considered favorable, bordering and directly connecting to major transportation routes in the North such as National Highway 1A, the Hanoi – Bac Giang – Lang Son Expressway, and the Hanoi – Lang Son railway line, helping to shorten the time for transporting goods.

- The distance from the industrial park to Hanoi is approximately 40–50 km, to Noi Bai International Airport is about 45 km, and it is also easily connected to international border gates in the North and the seaport system in the Hai Phong – Quang Ninh region, creating a clear advantage for logistics, import and export activities and international trade.

2. Scale and Development Planning

- The Vietnam-Korea Industrial Park has a scale of 197.31 hectares, with a comprehensive and synchronized master plan that complies with current standards for industrial park development.

- The site is divided into clearly defined functional zones such as: industrial production zone, technical infrastructure zone, service zone, and supporting zones.

- Investment attraction focuses on high value-added industries, including:

+ Electronics, components, and high-tech equipment;

+ Precision mechanics, manufacturing of machinery and industrial equipment;

+ Supporting industries, industries assisting multinational corporations;

+ Clean, energy-efficient industries with minimal negative environmental impact.


 

3. Technical Infrastructure and Services

- The internal transportation system is comprehensively developed, with wide roads and high load capacity, meeting the needs of heavy trucks and container vehicles.

- The electricity, water supply, drainage, and telecommunications systems are ensured to be stable and continuous, meeting the production and business requirements of enterprises within the industrial park.

- The centralized wastewater treatment system is invested in according to environmental standards, capable of treating industrial wastewater before discharging it into the environment, contributing to ensuring sustainable development.

- Industrial land is diverse in area, flexible in layout plans, suitable for many types and scales of investment projects.

4. Human Resources and Investment Environment

- Bac Ninh province possesses a young, abundant workforce capable of quickly adopting new technologies, with competitive labor costs compared to many other industrial localities in the Northern key economic region.

- The Bac Ninh provincial government is highly regarded for its administrative procedure reforms, its spirit of supporting businesses, and its policies supporting investors throughout the project implementation process.

- The Viet Han Industrial Park is located in an area with many industrial zones and clusters, creating conditions for the formation of a relatively complete and efficient production-service-logistics ecosystem.
