Bac Ninh Culinary - Craft Village Tourism Festival 2023 opens
(BNP) - On December 14, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held an opening ceremony of Bac Ninh Craft Village - Culinary Tourism Festival 2023 (Festival) at Van Mieu Balancing Lake Park.

Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council Tran Thi Hang; leaders of departments and sectors of Bac Ninh province, city as well as some provinces, cities attended the Festival.
The Festival attracted 100 booths showcasing the products of culinary and craft village tourism, including 60 booths from Bac Ninh and 40 booths from 12 provinces and cities such as: Dak Lak, Nghe An, Bac Giang, Hanoi, Tuyen Quang, Vinh Phuc, Ha Nam, Lang Son, Son La, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, and Ninh Binh. These booths displayed and introduced unique cultural products, OCOP products, typical tours, routes, and tourist attractions, as well as the products of traditional craft village and famous cuisine from Bac Ninh and other regions in the country.
The Festival also featured tourism promotion activities, exchanges between localities, and some regions’ cultural heritage performances to serve visitors. As a result, the Festival attracted thousands of people and tourists to visit and admire cultural and culinary products as well as enjoy special art programs with the smooth and loving Quan Ho songs of Kinh Bac land.
This is the third time the Festival has been held to introduce people and tourists to the unique cultural features and potential of culinary and craft village tourism in Bac Ninh, aiming to upgrade and renew the province’s tourism products.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council and delegates visited the booths. The Festival takes place from today until December 18, 2023.
