Bac Ninh has 173 fish farms under VietGAP standards

(BNP) - According to Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, up to now, Bac Ninh has 173 fish farms under VietGAP standards (an increase of 18 facilities over the same period in 2020), with a total area of more than 75 hectares, concentrated mainly in districts of Luong Tai, Tien Du, Gia Binh, Thuan Thanh and Yen Phong.

Up to now, the area of aquaculture in land pond in Bac Ninh is 5,150 ha and 2,267 fish cages in the river; aquaculture production in the first quarter reached more than 10,000 tons, equivalent to the same period. These establishments produced 39.1 million fingerlings of all kinds for the market.
