Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee works and exchanges experiences with Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee

Speaking at the meeting, Tay Ninh’s Secretary Nguyen Thanh Tam expressed his joy and respect to welcome the delegation of Bac Ninh province. He congratulated Bac Ninh on successfully organizing meaningful cultural exchange activities in Tay Ninh. At the same time, he hoped that members of the Bac Ninh delegation relationship would exchange and share so that Tay Ninh and Bac Ninh could continue to promote the inheritance of previous generations' traditions, promote cooperation and development between the two provinces, and contribute to the country's overall growth.

During the meeting, Bac Ninh’s Secretary Nguyen Anh Tuan sincerely thanked Tay Ninh province for its affection, attention and support for Bac Ninh. He expressed his joy at the opportunity to visit, exchange experiences, and engage in cultural and socio-economic exchanges in Tay Ninh. At the same time, he expressed his enthusiasm for Tay Ninh province's recent achievements, especially the focus on building and developing a green Tay Ninh province, clean industry, high-tech agriculture, border gate economy, which is associated with the development of ecological and spiritual tourism. He sincerely thanked the leaders and people of Tay Ninh province for their support and timely encouragement when Bac Ninh was damaged by Storm Yagi.

On the other hand, Tuan briefed on the historical traditions of the cultural land and the outstanding achievements in the Bac Ninh province’s socio-economic development after nearly 30 years of its re-establishment. He hoped that during this working session, Bac Ninh would learn from Tay Ninh about issues of importance to the province in the following areas: construction and organization of management of urban development planning, industrial planning, trade, and services; experience in developing spiritual and cultural tourism, particularly investment in developing the Ba Den Mountain tourist area; and experience in developing strategic transport infrastructure connecting Tay Ninh's regions and integrations.

At the meeting, Tay Ninh’s Chairman Nguyen Thanh Ngoc briefly introduced the highlights of Tay Ninh's socio-economic development. He hoped that Bac Ninh would share solutions and practical experience in the transition from an agricultural economy to industrial development, urban planning and implementation and experience in foreign investment attraction and high-tech investment.

Members of the Bac Ninh delegation and representatives from departments, branches and sectors of Tay Ninh province exchanged and shared many issues related to the process of investment attraction, industrial development, planning and planning management, specific mechanisms and policies in developing spiritual cultural tourism as well as preserving and promoting the value of intangible cultural heritage.

Bac Ninh’s Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that the close relationship between the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Ninh and Tay Ninh provinces in recent times has provided important support for the socio-economic development of the two localities. He believed that this traditional relationship would continue to be deepened in the coming time.

Concluding the meeting, Tay Ninh’s Secretary Nguyen Thanh Tam assigned relevant agencies to study and develop an official cooperation program on socio-economic development, preservation and promotion of the value of intangible cultural heritage, etc.

On this occasion, Bac Ninh province donated VND 5 billion to Tay Ninh province to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. The leaders of the two provinces also presented souvenirs of Dong Ho folk paintings from Bac Ninh and Dau Tieng Lake paintings from Tay Ninh.
