Celebrating 79th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day of Socialist Republic of Vietnam

From here, our people escaped from the shackles of slavery of feudal colonialism and became the masters of the country and their own destiny. The victory of the August Revolution is the victory of the patriotic spirit and the strength of the great unity of the whole nation under the correct and ingenious leadership of the Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh.

After the success of the August Revolution, on September 2, 1945, at the Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, bringing our country from a semi-feudal colonial country to an independent and free country. In the Declaration of Independence, there is a paragraph: “Vietnam has the right to enjoy its freedom and independence, and it has, in fact, become a free and independent country. The entire people of Vietnam are determined to mobilize all their physical and mental strength, to sacrifice their lives and properties to safeguard the said freedom and independence.”

The glorious victory of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam are a source of great strength, an important premise for our nation to successively win victories in the great resistance wars to save the country, defeat the old and new colonialism, completing the national revolution and people's democracy to bring the whole country to socialism. Our Party is always interested in building the State of the people, by the people and for the people; our country's position and strength are growing stronger, the material and technical foundations of the economy are strengthened, and the environment of peace and cooperation is expanded. Our State has been gradually strengthened in the direction of becoming more and more clean and strong.

The 79th anniversary of the National Day (September 2) is also an opportunity for the whole Party, the whole people and the entire army to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament and commemorate the 55th anniversary of the death of him, the old father of the nation, the genius leader of our Party and people.

Inheriting and promoting the spirit of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), the Bac Ninh province’s party committee, the government and the people always believe in the Party's leadership; always unite, work together, unanimously, comprehensively promote the renovation, follow the glorious revolutionary path; actively and strive to emulate production labor, make many achievements to celebrate major holidays of the homeland and the country, determined to successfully implement the political goals and tasks set out by the Resolution of the XX Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
