Bac Ninh ranks second in overall classical wrestling category at National Classical - Freestyle Wrestling Club Championship

The tournament attracted nearly 320 athletes from 18 delegations from provinces, cities and sectors across the country competing in many weight categories for men and women in freestyle and classical wrestling with a knockout format.

Bac Ninh had 16 athletes competing in 2 categories: women's freestyle wrestling and classical wrestling.

At the end of the tournament, the Bac Ninh delegation won 3 Gold, 4 Silver, 6 Bronze Medals (ranking  second overall in the classical wrestling category). Of which, 3 Gold Medals belonged to the athletes: Nguyen Trong Quang, classical wrestling, 50kg category; Nguyen Trong Nam, classical wrestling, 55kg category; Nguyen Van Bao, classical wrestling, 130kg category.
