Bac Ninh wins 2 prizes in 24th National Young Informatics Contest
(BNP) – Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with Ministry of Information and Communications, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Television and Vietnam Informatics Association held the 24th National Young Informatics Contest at Vung Tau city.

The contest this year attracted nearly 300 contestants 51 provinces and cities nationwide and competed in 4 groups. Group A: Testing skills for primary school students; Group B, Testing skills for secondary school students; Group C, Testing skills for high school students; Group D, Testing creative product for students of secondary school and high school.
3 students from Bac Ninh provinces participated in 3 Groups: a, B and C in the Contest this year.
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 first prizes, 19 second prizes, 26 third prizes and 70 encouraging prizes for excellent contestants. Among which, Bac Ninh province won 2 prizes including Nguyen Duc Thuan, a student of grade 9C (Nguyen Cao Secondary School in Que Vo district) won the third prize in Group B receiving Certificates of Merit "Excellent contestant with disabilities"; Nguyen Duc Kiet, student of grade 5A, Phu Chuan Primary School in Tu Son town won the encouraging prize in Group A.
