Bo Son Communal House
(BNP) - Bo Son communal house, Bo Son quarter, Vo Cuong ward, Bac Ninh city, was originally built during the Le dynasty (17th century). During the Nguyen dynasty, it was restored on a large scale. It was demolished to implement the scorched earth resistance policy. In 2004, the locals contributed their efforts and resources to restore the communal house on its old grounds.

Bo Son communal house currently consists of: the Gate, the Great Communal Hall and the “Tạo soạn” building. The Great Communal Hall has an architecture of Chinese “Dinh” letter.

The communal house still keeps typical artifacts including: 03 altar thrones, 02 altar tablets, 01 pair of wooden cranes, 03 incense burners, 01 pair of altar horses, 02 altar palanquins, 01 set of eight treasures, 02 horizontal lacquered boards, 02 pairs of couplets (20th century); 02 Nguyen dynasty’s swords, etc. These are artifacts with historical and aesthetic research value that need to be preserved.
