Business delegation from Gumi city, South Korea explores investment opportunities in Bac Ninh
(BNP) – In the morning of September 26th, a business delegation from Gumi city, South Korea led by Mr. Jo Jung Moon, Chairman of Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited and explored investment opportunities in the province. Mr. Nguyen Tu Quynh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee received and worked with the Delegation.

At the meeting, the Chairman gave general introduction about potentials, strengths and investment environment with preferential policies of the province. He also said that Korea is one of the most important partners and the biggest investor in Bac Ninh with about 1,000 projects, among which, there are many large corporations and enterprises such as Samsung, Hanwha Techwin...
With the province's efforts in improving the investment environment and the success of Korean businesses in the province, the Chairman hoped that in the coming time, there will be more Korean enterprises in general and enterprises from Gumi city in particular continue to choose Bac Ninh as an investment destination.
Mr. Jo Jung Moon, Chairman of Gumi Chamber of Commerce and Industry thanked the provincial leaders for cordial reception and expressed his good impression on the landscape, people as well as the open investment environment of Bac Ninh. He briefed on the development of Gumi city and stressed that Gumi has many similarities with Bac Ninh, especially in the field of electronics industry. Gumi currently has more than 3,000 businesses and more than 150,000 employees.
In the next time, Mr. Jo Jung Moon hoped that the two localities would continue strengthening their socio-economic development cooperation in accordant with the potentials, strengths as well as traditional cooperation between two countries in general and the two localities in particular. He also emphasized that the cooperation between Gumi and Bac Ninh will be a strategic cooperation to develop the strengths of number 1 industrial center of the two countries. Gumi Business Association will help businesses coming to invest in Bac Ninh and Bac Ninh province will facilitate Korean businesses in general and Gumi enterprises in particular explore investment opportunities in the province.
