Ca Tru Club of Bac Ninh province establishes

Leader of the Provincial Cultural Center awards the Decision to establish the Provincial Ca Tru Club.

At the conference, the Provincial Cultural Center announced Decision No. 361/QD-TTVH on the establishment of the Bac Ninh Provincial Ca Tru Club with 45 members. The club is in charge of organizing, building, and developing the Ca tru singing movement in the province; preserving and promoting intangible cultural values; organizing training to improve the professional quality of members; training Ca tru singing cores; creating resources to participate in competitions and performances; serving during festivals and local political tasks.

The Ca Tru singing class opens in September 2023 with 37 students from the Ca Tru Clubs of Thanh Khuong (Thuan Thanh), Dong Tien (Yen Phong), Tieu Than (Gia Binh), and Ca Tru groups of Bac Ninh City.

In the class, students were taught how to sing, how to execute Ca Tru, how to breathe and release words, how to play the bottom instrument, and how to tap the rhythm using the beat, thus, providing students with the knowledge and skills to methodically practice playing and singing Ca Tru for students as well as maintaining and preserving the essence of traditional arts.

At the end of the class, the students successfully completed the proposed curriculum and teaching plan; 100% of the students are issued  a certificate of participation in the Ca Tru singing class in 2023.
