Chairman of Bucheon City Trade Union Federation (Korea) pays courtesy visit to provincial leader

Participants at the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Chung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Ha Sy Tiep, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Office of the Provincial Party Committee, Office of the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Labor Confederation.

At the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary Nguyen Quoc Chung quickly informed the province’s outstanding achievements in recent times, with many indicators among the top in the country. Bac Ninh has now 16 industrial parks, attracting more than 2,100 FDI projects from 41 countries and territories. Among them, Korea is the country with the largest FDI investment capital in Bac Ninh with a total capital of over USD 14 billion, making an important contribution to the province’s development

The Standing Deputy Secretary believed that cooperation activities between the Bucheon City’s Trade Union Federation and the Provincial Labor Confederation would promote union activities in enterprises, especially FDI enterprises. Based on the long-standing historical relationship and cultural similarities of the two countries as well as the friendly relationship between Bac Ninh province and Bucheon city, the Provincial Labor Confederation and the Bucheon City’s Trade Union Federation will continue to strengthen practical and meaningful cooperation and exchanges, contributing to the Trade Union's quality and operational efficiency in the future.

For his part, Chairman Papk Jong Hyun hoped that in the coming time, Bac Ninh province would continue to pay attention and support to Korean enterprises investing in the province as well as organize many meetings and exchanges between the two sides to share experiences.
