Chairman of Provincial People's Committee inspects progress of project to restore Do temple relic site and Tieu Tuong river

(BNP) - On the morning of November 4, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of the project to restore the Do temple relic site and Tieu Tuong river, Dinh Bang ward, Tu Son city.

The investment project of construction and restoration of the Do temple relic site and Tieu Tuong river, invested by the consortium of Hai Phat Thu Do Investment Joint Stock Company, Hai Phat Real Estate Joint Stock Company and A.D.E.L Investment Joint Stock Company in the form of BT. It started construction in early 2022 with a total investment of more than VND 667 billion. To date, more than 70% of phase 1 development has been completed, including embankments, culverts, and road expansion to the Do temple relic site...

Although the Provincial People's Committee has extended the project, some items in phase 1 have yet to be completed, necessitating a halt in construction; phase 2 has not yet been implemented because some households have not agreed with the compensation plan proposed by the investor.

Directly inspecting the project progress, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that this is an important project, contributing to creating a spacious appearance and promoting the socio-economic development of the ward as well as of Tu Son city. He requested the investor to mobilize human resources, material resources, machinery and equipment to urgently construct and complete the items and routes with a clean surface as well as uphold the sense of responsibility, promptly ask for the province's direction on issues beyond its authority.

The Chairman assigned the People's Committee of Tu Son city to work with the investor, relevant departments and sectors to urgently complete the compensation plan for site clearance in phase 2 of the project and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval, to be completed before December 5, 2024, to serve as a foundation for implementing the next steps. For some households that have not received compensation, the locality will conduct final propaganda and mobilization, make a plan to protect the construction and organize enforcement according to regulations, in order to promptly hand over the site to the investor.
