Consumer price index in 2024 increases by 3.4%

(BNP) - In 2024, the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 3.4% compared to 2023, within the target range set by the Government.

Among which, there were 09 main groups of goods and services with increasing price indexes. The groups of goods contributing to the increase in CPI for 2024 were medicines and medical services; culture, entertainment and tourism; education; other goods and services.

On the other hand, 2 groups of goods and services with decreasing price indexes were transportation and post and telecommunications.
