Crop production value increases by VND 109.2 million/ha compared to 1997
(BNP) - After more than 27 years of re-establishing the province, Bac Ninh has restructured towards sustainability associated with new rural construction; the structure of crops, varieties, and livestock has shifted towards intensive farming, increasing productivity and economic value; production models applying high technology, biotechnology, and closed production chains have been widely replicated.
Up to now, the total crop production value of the province reaches VND 126.4 million/ha.
The value of crop production per hectare of cultivated land increased from VND 17.2 million in 1997 to VND 126.4 million in 2023 (up VND 109.2 million/ha).
The national program on new rural construction has been effectively implemented with the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". By the end of 2020, 100% of communes in the province have been recognized as meeting new rural standards, 8/8 district-level units have completed the goal of building new rural areas in the period 2010-2020, Bac Ninh is one of 14 provinces recognized as new rural provinces.
Develop OCOP products in depth, linking them with tourism, services, and enhancing the new rural areas and model new rural areas; focus on effectively implementing Conclusion No. 711-KL/TU, dated April 14, 2023, from the Provincial Party Committee regarding the "Project to pilot OCOP tourism products in Bac Ninh province for the period of 2023-2025"; recognize 93 OCOP products with a rating of 3 stars or higher; and accelerate the progress of 3 OCOP tourism projects: Quan Ho Diem Xa Village (Bac Ninh City), Dong Ho Painting Village (Thuan Thanh Town), and Phu Lang Pottery Village (Que Vo Town) to become operational.
