Delegation of Ministry of Culture Sports and Tourism visits and works in Bac Ninh
(BNP) – A delegation of Ministry of Culture Sports which is leaded by Minister Nguyen Van Hung has had the visiting and working with Bac Ninh province’s leaders on conservation and promotion of cultural heritage values in the province.

Receiving and working with the Delegation were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies Dao Hong Lan; Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huong Giang; Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ngo Tan Phuong.
At the meeting, the delegation has heard the brief report of Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan on preservation and promotion of the value of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk song; making Dong Ho Folk paintings; implementation of a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, festivals. The province also allocates funds to renovate nearly 700 relics; strengthened propaganda, promotion and introduction of various types of cultural heritage; investment of the renovation and construction of cultural institutions…
Bac Ninh province proposed the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to speed up the completion of the planning for preservation, restoration and restoration of 04 special national relics including Dau Pagoda; But Thap pagoda; Phat Tich pagoda; Tombs and temples of kings of the Ly dynasty; promote the investment in national target programs, investment programs on cultural, sports and tourism development for Bac Ninh province; prioritize allocate resources to implement projects for the conservation of UNESCO-registered intangible cultural heritages, archeological relics of Dam pagoda and historical - cultural, architectural and artistic relics which is being degraded…
After hearing the report, Minister Nguyen Van Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding achievements in socio-economic development, especially in the cultural field of Bac Ninh province.
He proposed: Bac Ninh Province should effectively operate cultural institutions; build models of typical cultural villages on preserving Quan Ho folk songs; develop tourism commensurate with the potential; create links between Hanoi and Bac Ninh to enable the tourism; actively work with investors to form cultural institutions in industrial zones and cluster…
In the coming time, Secretary Lan expressed her hope to receive the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the development journey in general and in the field of culture, sports and tourism in particular.
Previously, the delegation and the provincial leaders visited the Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center (Thuan Thanh district, watched a performance of making Dong Ho folk painting making and visited Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater as well as enjoyed Quan Ho Bac Ninh folk songs.
