Embassy of Vietnam in Finland organizes workshop on potential participation in wastewater treatment project of Operon Group, Finland
(BNP) - On November 25, the Embassy of Vietnam in Finland held an online-workshop on potential participation in the wastewater treatment project of Operon Group, Finland. At Bac Ninh’s venue, leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities attended the workshop.

Operon Group is one of the leading enterprises in Finland in the field of wastewater treatment and is supported by the Finnish Government to connect with international business. The group specializes in providing environmentally friendly wastewater treatment technology for small and medium-sized cities that need industrial cleaning in the surrounding area. The Group has chosen Vietnam as a priority market for investment in Southeast Asia. Up to now, 02 wastewater treatment plants have been built in Kon Tum and Gia Lai provinces with capital from the Public Investment Fund of Finland (PIF) and approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.
Speaking at the workshop, a representative from Operon Group said that in the near future, the Group wanted to build 01 - 02 more wastewater treatment projects in Vietnam from PIF capital and is committed to helping the provinces and cities in Vietnam carry out procedures to apply for PIF support. On the other hand, Group also supports the officials from provinces and cities to Finland to study about the water treatment industry in particular and its environmental technology of Finland in general.
