More than 350 youth union members participate in agricultural production techniques training

The leader of Provincial Youth Union visits the VAC model farm

At the training session, more than 350 participants, who are leaders of youth unions in communes, wards, towns, villages, and youth union members in rural areas, were provided basic knowledge on agricultural production techniques, especially food and biological safety in agriculture; how to apply scientific and technological advances to agricultural production; and clean vegetable cultivation, freshwater fish breeding according to VietGAP standards.

In the framework of the training, youth union members were guided about mechanisms, policies, loans for economic development of the province, and paid a visit to the actual model at the VAC integrated farm, which brings high economic efficiency of Mr. Tran Van Truong, in Huu Ai village, Giang Son commune, Gia Binh district.

The training session aims to improve the knowledge of youth union members, especially youth in rural areas, about accessing and grasping new mechanisms and policies in agriculture and rural development; To effectively apply science and technology into production, thus contributing to raising incomes and shifting the economic structure in localities. This is also one of the activities that contribute to helping the Youth Union members to organize and carry out effectively the movements of "Volunteer of the Youth", "Creation of the Youth", "Youth in Protecting the Fatherland", "Bac Ninh youth join hands to build new countryside".
