Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee presents gifts to women employees in need

Currently, the percentage of women employees in the province accounts for nearly 70% of the labor force. Since the beginning of the year, the work of women's union has been focused and obtained many positive results. The province has organized 132 inspections related to policies for women employees; supported women in need to borrow money from the Fund for the Poor Women to develop the household economy with the total capital of nearly VND 2 billion; supported 76 children who are disabled with congenital malformation to join free surgery with the fund of  VND 360 million.

In addition, propaganda and education for women employees on gender equality, population, families, children and so on have been strengthened with a variety of contents and forms. Activities of cultural exchanges, arts, sports and physical training on the occasion of holidays; the meeting, talking, honoring and rewarding women employees are often organized, contributing to improving the spiritual life, creating motivation to help them in studying, working, fulfilling well the role of women,...

At the meeting, the Provincial Labor Confederation delivered gifts to 69 women employees in need, to 55 students, who are the children of the women employees, overcoming the difficulties to study well, to 17 children achieving high results in national and international exams in the school year of 2017 – 2018. This is a practical activity, which contributes to the spiritual motivation for disadvantaged women employees and their children, to make efforts in life, work, and study.
