Provincial leader and expert team resolve difficulties for Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd

At the working session, Mr. Okamoto, General Director of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. briefed on the company’s production and business results in 2023 and its production plan in 2024. At the same time, he sincerely thanked the leaders, departments, sectors, branches and localities of Bac Ninh province for their attention, support and companionship with the company during its production and business processes in Que Vo and Tien Son Industrial Zones.

Leaders of some departments, branches and localities directly answered and discussed the company’s recommendations related to maintaining a stable power source so that the company can produce and increase output in 2024; simplifying customs declaration procedures when lending domestic tools to produce export products; developing the Industrial Park’s infrastructure to attract workers to live in and work; developing the traffic system, and installing more traffic signs at intersections and access roads in the Industrial Park.

Concluding the working session, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan praised and appreciated the contributions of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. to the development of Bac Ninh province in recent years.

Tuan assigned departments, branches and localities to have plans to ensure a stable power source for the company’s production and business plans; review and immediately install traffic sign systems in the Industrial Park area as well as speed up the progress of traffic projects at the Industrial Park; provide information about social housing projects and labor training facilities for the company to access; and research ways to simplify customs declaration to create favorable conditions for the enterprise.

On the occasion of the new year, Standing Vice Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan wished all leaders and employees of Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. good health, happiness and success, and that the company would successfully complete its set tasks and production plans for 2024. He further hoped that the company would continue to be a bridge for Japanese businesses to invest in Bac Ninh.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee jointly gave gifts to Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd.; the Provincial Labor Confederation presented gifts to some workers of the company.
