Provincial leader checks progress of project of Phat Tich - Dai Dong Thanh bridge

Chairwoman Giang checks the implementation progress of the project of Phat Tich - Dai Dong Thanh bridge.

The Phat Tich – Dai Dong Thanh bridge project has a length of more than 1.5km, a total investment of more than VND 1,900 billion. Up to now, the construction progress has reached more than 80% of the work volume; the entire bridge section has been completed with concrete construction of the bridge deck, concrete railings, and medians. Contractors are focusing on constructing the last span to merge the main bridge.

Chairwoman Giang acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the investor, the contractors and consultants in in ensuring the construction progress as committed.

She said that the Phat Tich – Dai Dong Thanh bridge project was identified as a key project of the province to create favorable travel conditions for people as well as driving force to promote economic and tourism development of the localities.

She asked the contractors to continue to mobilize maximum resources, organize the construction of 3 shifts/day and night; strictly comply with regulations on labor safety, environmental sanitation, and ensure the prevention and control of epidemics on the construction site. The supervision consulting unit appoints permanent staff at the construction site to promptly handle arising problems during the construction process, ensuring the progress is not interrupted or stalled, striving to carry out the global contract in June 2022.
